The taste of the coffee also depends on the recipe of the coffee and how it is made. There are a lot of recipes for enhancing the taste of the coffee in a plain pot over a campfire or for your camping coffee pot. And which recipe get you started so your morning or evening brew tastes good every time.
First take a coffee pot and put in it two quarts of water, when the water in the pot is boiled then take it from the fire and as the pot is removed and add 2 handfuls of fine ground coffee. Now another common method of making campfire coffee is Started with 1½ tablespoons of thickly ground coffee for each 6 oz of water when you are using a percolator coffee pot. When you add ground coffee to the water, then thrust a hole in a regular coffee filter and lay it in the perk basket. And observe the color of the coffee in the percolator. The quality of water also determines the taste of water and tap, well and lake never gives good taste to the coffee.
