Instant Coffee
The history of instant coffee is traced to 1771. The British people did many attempts to make instant coffee. it was a difficult task to get freshly brewed coffee. Instant coffee is make, when coffee and water is brewed, after this the water is removed and the left thing is instant coffee. in the early ages instant coffee was made by spraying the solution onto the surface of heated drum. In the way the water became evaporated and the residue was packed. But the instant coffee obtained through this method is not so perfect.
The other method was introduced in 1960’s by the process of agglomeration. In this method the instant coffee was steamed and it became sticky so they clump together. And the clump was heated again to dry it again. Through this method the coffee obtained was better but the flavor was degraded to some extent through the reheating process.
Today the process of lyophilization or freeze-drying had become more famous and standard method for making instant coffee. in this method the water is actually boil which does affect the flavor of the coffee. first the solution is made, then it is frozen and place it in a vacuum chamber. In the freezing temperature, in the vacuum chamber the solid water goes to vapor. And the residue in the vacuum chamber is called instant coffee.
The instant coffee machine are available in every shape, color and configuration. The instant coffee is mostly available in offices. This machine is very simple in use and fast coffee is obtained from this machine. Add appropriate amount of water into the top of machine and add coffee packet in to the compartment, then press the switch on.

Today flavored coffee is 30% of the specialty coffee. the sale of flavored coffee are $750,000,000. the trend of flavored began around 1600’s. this credited goes to Venetians, who created the flavored coffee by the addition of spices like cinnamon, nutmeg to their coffee. the people of middle-eastern created the flavored coffee by adding coriander, cardamom and cinnamon to the coffee but these addition could not produce the perfect flavored coffee. the first flavored coffee got success in the US, international house flavored instant coffee simply called international coffee. in the beginning the roaster used to add the flouring came from other industries but today the special flavoring is developed for the coffee. from these flavors, a wide range different coffee flavors is produced.
